Using Alternate Browsers with Alert

One of our clients asked the Help Desk last week about using Chrome instead
of Internet Explorer with Alert. She was so tickled with the answer for configuring the web browser she
thought we should share it with all of you! So without further ado…

First, configure the Alert icon to point at Chrome.
Right-click on the Alert icon, choose properties, and add the file destination
for Chrome as /browser=”C:\Program files (X86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe.
Put this address at the end of what’s already there, as shown.

If there is already an existing “/browser=” in the Target line, simply replace
it with the new one for Chrome.

Pro tip: go to your file explorer and copy the address, then paste it in the
Properties as above. See the below screenshot. (Don’t forget the
chrome.exe  at the  end!) Let us know at support@alertms.com
